Don’t let it intimidate you. I know it can be a lot and there’s so much to learn, but sweetie, I’m here to keep it simple.
Why is building your brand on social media important?
With some effort, social media can help to increase the exposure and traffic brought to your brand. Why is this beneficial?
Social media marketing is the #1 tool that allows your brand to develop an audience and build brand recognition and awareness. It provides a platform that tells your brand’s story.
This is where you are able to improve SEO (we will get to in the future), retarget opportunities and promote products.
5 easy steps to help build your brand on social media:
1. Complete or update your social platforms. This includes your socials’ name, branding colors and logo.
2. Figure out your audience. This takes some time and research!
3. Develop a content schedule. Become more consistent with posting.
4. Make sure you are interacting with your audience. This is where customer service and consumer interaction takes place. Most likely, if your business was found on social media, you will be contacted on social media.
5. Link your website to your social accounts.
Remember, branding your business and yourself is all about getting in front of your target audience. So, promote, promote, promote. Just post your content, friend.
Brand Story and Messaging:
Once you have your platforms up, where should you start?
Well, for one, tell your story. What is your brand? What does it have to offer?
Tell how your brand is unique and what makes it stand out.
Think of why people should want to care about your brand.
Social media is constantly advancing, so use it to your advantage. Figure out your brand, know your audience and then get to creating. Until next time,
